Bits

Do you ever feel like you have a really busy day and then as the sun goes down you've nothing to show for it? That was me today. I feel like I got a lot done, I feel like I checked some things off my list but there is still a pile of dirty clothes on the floor, etc. Well, I had fun.
I spent a big part of the day playing on the piano. We have a few shows coming up that I'm excited about and practicing makes me feel good. Every time we play and I haven't practiced it always goes alright but in my mind I'm thinking, "Wow, I'm totally winging this." It's never a good feeling. Everyone should have something that they're passionate about that they can just waste a day doing. Because if you are passionate about it and you feel good doing it, then I guess you aren't wasting the day are you? What are you passionate about? I'd love to know someone else out there is wasting time too.

  1. Drinking wine? Hmmm.... Maybe I should say that taking photographs certainly makes time fly by way too fast.

  3. I have to say writing has always been my number one passion. Even when I've run out of things to write for the day, I'm left wanting more.

  4. I write. If I've worked on my 'major' project I feel ok. I've I've spent time writing something else, I enjoy it, but feel a bit naughty, indulgent. Fact is though, if I'm making a story, time passes and the day is happy- it doesn't really matter what story it is.

  5. That is pretty much my day everyday. Lol. Wyatt is my passion - I love spending time with him reading books, painting, cooking new foods, etc. But writing will always have a spot in my heart.
