In the last few weeks I have had two amazing bridal showers given by my two most favorite girls. The first, given by my wonderful friend Tara, had a vintage theme. There were vintage tablecloths on the table, she gave everyone vintage hankies in wine glasses and the presents she gave me were even vintage-great finds! It was so warm and thoughtful, I'm so glad to have her as a pal.
The second shower was this past weekend at Sage and it was incredible! I had never been there before and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend it. My sister put so much work into it and everyone was so impressed. The decor was amazing, EVERYTHING was DIY. She designed the invitations, place cards, cake toppers, menu, burlap banners, everything. It was so on trend and rustic, just like our country wedding will be. She is the most fabulous sister anyone could ask for and I'm tearing up as I'm writing this. She makes me cry pretty much anytime she does anything for me and this shower was no exception. She also gave me a small box and inside was a bracelet and engraved on the bracelet was, "Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters," a quote from my favorite movie, White Christmas. It was heaven. I haven't seen the photos from Tara's shower yet but I will be posting them soon! Until then, here are some shots from Sarah's shower this past weekend: The amazing invitation suite, a few decor shots, some hydrangeas that were on all of the tables and my pretty new bracelet. I could not be more thankful for this past year and the kind and generous people I share my life with. I'm a lucky girl.
