The Magic of the Season

This has long been my favorite time of year. The time when snow starts to fall, the days grow darker, people grow closer and magical things seem to happen everywhere. This is the time of year when people are reflecting on years past and planning on years ahead, setting goals, reading the stars and believing in signs. This is the time of year when troubles seem miles away and the important things in life like family, faithful friends and glowing love are all that matter. During the swift changing seasons, I am always more inspired than I am all year. If seasonal depression is really a thing, I have the opposite. The colder, the better. The snowier, the happier.

If the chill of the season seems to get you down, I encourage you to let yourself be swept away by the marvelously mysterious ways of the holidays. Forgive. Love. Believe in the metaphysical. If you're waiting for a sign, this is it.
